I'm a freelance Motion Designer and Video Editor based in Margate, Uk.
I specialise in creating motion graphics and video content for TV, web, broadcast, commercials, apps, corporate videos, title sequences, idents, infographics, visual installations and much more.
My weapons are After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Cinema 4D and loads of tea.

BCG Digital Ventures
Working alongside Producers, Script Writers and Art Directors, my role as Lead Motion Designer is to bring life to the artwork in order to tell the story.

Planet Sprank
Working alongside visual artist Sprankenstein, I was the lead motion designer for the project.
We wanted to push the boat out and create a new world – PLANET SPRANKS – full of space creatures, deep sea monsters, creepy coral and it’s very own orbiting galaxy (even flat-earthers will be happy) – this video is the first of many within the Planet Sprank Universe, which we are going to expand into the depths of the cyber world.

E4 TV Ident - E4 Island
Role - Concept, Graphic Designer, Motion Designer.
The second in a trilogy of E-Sting Idents, E4 Island was born.
The soundscape was provided by E4, which had a romantic, sunset, tropical type of vibe. So what more could you ask for than a naughty parrot to spoil the party!?
My aim was to make it funny and memorable, whilst cramming in as much of E4's branding as possible. This TV ident aired on E4 for two years.

Coca Cola - Christmas 2020
Role - Motion Designer
Commissioned by Movement Digital, the aim of the app was to help people be present with their loved one's at Christmas. The app created a digital experience that encouraged them to gift themselves. Within the app there were 31 content experiences that changed throughout December enabling people to give the most magical gift at Christmas, even if they couldn’t physically be present with their loved ones.

E4 TV Ident - SLOTH PARTY
Role - Concept, Graphic Designer, Motion Designer
Sloth Party was the third of a trilogy of E4 Idents that I produced for the channel.
After being inspired by an incredible David Attenborough documentary about how sloths operate and survive in the South American rainforests, it was clear that they needed to be included in this ident, as they're incredible.
After choosing the audio track first, I created different compositions in Photoshop. A balance was found so that the pacing of the motion was right, in order to take in all the imagery. I wanted to fill the them with as much of the E4 branding as possible.
Sloth Party was born, airing on the channel for two years.

Boen Wine App Animation
Role - Motion Designer
‘Tap the Cap’ of your wine bottle and it launches the Boen website via this animation.
The concept was the ‘tapper’ would be launched into the video, which we created using 2D illustrations in a 3D space giving the illusion that you are flying over the Boen vineyards in Napa Valley before arriving at the Boen Farmhouse at the end.

St. Andrew's Healthcare - Inequalities Research
Role - Motion designer
Working closely with Lisa Chapman (NHS Healthcare Creative Strategist, Scriptwriter) and Jade Spranklen (Illustration), the aim of this project was to create an animation that communicated the outputs from the NHS, Inequalities Research Project.
The Project engaged with three distinct population groups, patients, Peer support workers and staff, to gain their understanding and experiences of inequality and the direct impact they have had upon their wellbeing.
The hope was to raise awareness, and ultimately, make a positive difference through the first-hand experiences of inequalities shared.
For the visual direction, we decided that a drawn-on, 'sketch' look was suitable to drive the animation forward. One of the main challenges of the animation was to strike a balance of being sensitive about the topics spoken about, but, also making their points clear to the audience.
The project took two weeks to complete, the video was used throughout web and social for St. Andrew's Healthcare. The client was very happy :)

The creative direction for the Farmhouse was to be bold, funny, outrageous, weird, memorable – which are also key values of the E4 brand. Creating varied compositions in Photoshop and AE, using the sound as a guide, I created a unique environment that is just silly fun with an E4 attitude.

NHS - Mental Health Services
Role - Motion designer
The aim of this animation was to raise awareness of the local mental health services and support available for people during the pandemic, clearly signposting how they can access the services and support.
There were two versions: one specifically communicating directly to the community of Northamptonshire and one communicating at a national level.
